About the Practice

An advisory practice built around one operator's range.

OneAnother Health is the advisory practice of Erik Abel, PharmD, MBA. It exists because the hardest problems in healthcare do not sit inside a single function, and most advisors only work in one.

Why it exists

Clinical science moves faster than the system that pays for it.

A product can be cleared, clinically valid, and still have no route to a patient, because no one pays a device to exist. Coverage, coding, workflow, and evidence all have to line up before innovation reaches the people it is meant to help. OneAnother Health works in that gap, connecting what clinical science can do to what the system will recognize, cover, and pay for.

How it works

Four principles.

Senior-led

Engagements are led and delivered by the founder, not handed to a junior team. You work with the person you hired.

Independent and conflict-aware

Advice is not shaped by a vendor relationship or a placement fee. Conflicts are disclosed, and engagements are declined where they overlap.

Cross-functional by default

Clinical, commercial, and product are considered together, because the failure usually lives in the seam between them.

Built to ship

Strategy is designed against what a real workflow, contract, and coding environment will tolerate, not just what looks good in a deck.

Setting expectations

What OneAnother Health is not.

Clarity about the boundaries is part of the value. This practice is not a generalist consulting firm and not a staff-augmentation shop. It is not a high-volume delivery model that scales by adding junior headcount. It is not a content or marketing agency. It is a focused, senior advisory practice for problems that cross clinical, commercial, and product lines.
